Founded in 1993, AL GALOPE, located in the valley of San Nicolás, 40 minutes away from the city of Medellín and 5 minutes away from the International Airport José María Cordova, in Rionegro, is one of the main equestrian centers in Colombia.
This eastern region of the department of Antioquia comprises the municipalities of Rionegro, Guarne, La Ceja, Santuario, Marinilla, El Retiro and El Carmen de Viboral; all of which have many attractive sights.
The valley of San Nicolas is surrounded by mountains pertaining to the central branch of the Andes. This gives the region a variety of landscapes, topographies, rural environments with “fondas” and regional restaurants; all the charm of rural life with the comfort of a big city.
